Whilest reading through the news today,  story caught my attention in which an on-line bingo player has won herself a massive £100,000.

It happened on the Mecca bingo site, where the woman had won three tickets into the qualifier, before winning the top prize.

At first she was stunned by the win before the excitement hit, then called her family to share the good news.

She plans to use the winnings to take a holiday with her family to Australia.

 A twenty-one year old woman from Bournemouth has won over ₤37 000 playing bingo at her local Gala Bingo Club in Christchurch Road.

The player won the National game prize of ₤35 065, a Regional prize of ₤2 145 and a house prize of ₤70 when she called bingo on her full house in forty-three numbers.

The woman has been playing bingo once or twice a week for about two years and loves the game. Her biggest bingo prize prior to this win was ₤140.

After receiving a promotional ticket she went along to play with her mother and couldn’t believe it when she was told how much money she had won.

She plans to share the winnings with her mother and sister and will use her share to buy a car, some new clothes and is going to spend some of it on a holiday.

A 55 year old woman has won an amazing £36,000 playing bingo at her local club at Mansfield Leisure Park.

The woman is a business centre manager from Mansfield Woodhouse, and has only been playing bingo for eighteen months, following the news of a local woman scooping a £100,000 jackpot.

The woman, who has been playing with her sister along with two other friends, won the National Bingo Game of ₤34,150, a regional prize of ₤2,139 and the house prize of ₤50. Winning full house in forty-six calls, she is sticking to the agreement she made with her sister and the friends to share the prize money.

Mecca Bingo in Dagenham, was the scene of the latest big win, where a player scooped more than £73,000.

Not only did the local woman hit bingo in 40 numbers, she also landed the National Bingo game jackpot of £70,160, with the regional prize of £3,631 and Mecca’s own house prize of £288.

At the shock of winning, she burst into tears, however her partner, who was at the bar at the time, burst into fits of laughter

In a statement she said: “ He paid for my ticket so we’re going to spend the money together. He was ecstatic when he realised how much I had won and just kept laughing. He said it was unbelievable that something like this could happen to us.”
 

A woman from Livingston has won a massive ₤40 000 in her local Carlton Bingo, in the Almondvale Centre. The seventy-eight year old mother of two, who has been playing bingo for fifty years Says she was absolutely “gob-smacked” by her massive win.The win consists of ₤38 200 for the National bingo game, the Regional prize of 2 038 and a house prize of ₤171, giving her a grand total of ₤40 409. She completed a full house in just thirty-eight calls, making the win even more remarkable.

The woman started playing bingo at the Carlton when she joined there as a member on its opening where she regularly plays with her neighbour. She said that she had no idea that she had won the National game until her neighbour told her, thinking she had only won the house prize.

The woman is planning to use the cash to treat her sons, take a holiday in Ireland and buy a new carpet.
